El Presidente prueba su propia medicina

Se creería el Presidente que ganando el PSC las elecciones en Cataluña ya lo tendría hecho. De eso nada. Vuelve a depender del prófugo para mantenerse en el poder. Nada nuevo. Los actores siguen en sus mismos papeles, uno pidiendo, y el otro cediendo. Al menos de momento, en esta ocasion, la exigencia no es hacer una ley ilegal como la de amnistía.

El caso de Cataluña ya se ha visto en otras regiones de España. Partidos con peor resultado se asocian para arrinconar al mas votado. De hecho, es la misma situación que tenemos en el Gobierno de España.

Pedro Sánchez recibirá de su propia medicina y como nos tiene acostumbrados, volverá a ceder a las pretensiones del fugado, esta vez a cambio de la Generalitat y la cabeza del ex-ministro Salvador Illa.

Y así, si el Presidente creía que podría sacar ventaja del resultado de las elecciones catalanas y mejorar posiciones de cara a las europeas, se va a llevar una torta de realidad y tendrá que seguir cavando su tumba, más profunda si cabe, de la que no podrá salir, por suerte para los españoles.

The President believed that if the PSC won the elections in Catalonia, he would have it all wrapped up. Not so fast. He's back to relying on the fugitive to stay in power. Nothing new. The actors are still playing their same roles, one demanding, and the other yielding. At least for now, on this occasion, the demand is not to pass an illegal law like the amnesty.

The case of Catalonia has been seen in other regions of Spain. Parties with worse results team up to sideline the most voted. In fact, it's the same situation we have in the Spanish government.

Pedro Sánchez will get a taste of his own medicine, and as he's accustomed to, he'll give in to the demands of the fugitive once again, this time in exchange for the Generalitat and the head of former minister Salvador Illa.

And so, if the President thought he could gain an advantage from the results of the Catalan elections and improve his position for the European elections, he's in for a rude awakening and will have to keep digging his own grave, deeper than ever, from which he won't be able to escape, thankfully for the Spanish people.
